1960's MUSEUM QUALITY heavily beaded couture pink brocade gown dress S-M

Here at Miss Master's Closet, I'm about to strike 15 years of selling online. Between working for myself, as well as other vintage clothing purveyors, I have NEVER seen such exquisite beading! This is clearly a couture piece (in the unofficial sense of the word, as in made custom for someone, not necessarily by a House under the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture). The bodice is a shell pink color satin fabric, with sweetheart style bust line, overlaid by a net mesh, upon which the beading rests. The waist and skirt consist of an intense jacquard brocade with a lush flora & foliage pattern. This floral theme is echoed throughout the beading, with 3-Dimensional sequined & beaded flowers flanked by leaves and scrolls. Clusters of round faceted pink beads finished with an aurora borealis sheen, as well as loops os silvery-pink seed beads run throughout the beading patterns. This is some seriously intense beading, and it wraps all the way around this dress! The inside is lined with a medium-heavy weight, pale pink acetate and two small, hand-finished weights have been sewn at the inside of each armpit. All open seam allowances have been finished with lace -all signs of a masterfully expert job, executed in every inch of this dress!!! I have pored over the beading, to find only a single loop of seed beads missing (alas, these were too difficult to match) and some of the round faceted beads that were missing have been replaced with Swarovski beads closest matching those present (in fact, an additional 11 of these beads will be sent along with this dress, upon purchase, in case of any future bead loss). There are a few very light marks throughout -none of which are visible except upon close inspection; one 2mm length light grey pen mark at mid-lower skirt, very light spotting in a few spots at skirt (one lower, two upper). Please see the last photographs for these issues. Also, please note: the weight of the beading means this dress is almost ten pounds!
