Looking for some antique loveliness to lace-up that look?
We have for you -in exquisite condition- from our archives, this gorgeous hand-made or worked lace collar and cuff set. From a time when you might have one or two changes of clothing, you would fancify your wardrobe by adding on this delicate set, sewing on and then removing, to wash most times after wearing! They come in an ivory color silk (or perhaps cotton) weave fabric with intricate floral design thats created by embroidering directly into the fabric and pulling the threads for parts of this design. The cuffs have a scallop-edged design at main fabric sections. What makes this collar piece even more exceptional is that each 'petal' on the collar has a different design thats mirrored on the other side (six separate floral designs). At the very edge of the 'petals' on collar and cuffs is a bobbin lace style flora design with little leaves and berries. So incredible and difficult to let go of! From my collection to yours...
